A former US Army member from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Michael Henry served as the Department of Defense (DOD) Technical Director for 16 years, beginning in 2007. During his time with the DOD, Michael Henry also leveraged his extensive experience in global combat communications as CEO of Industrial Communications Group (ICG), taking the position in 2018. He still holds the position today.
Mr. Henry oversees an enterprise that offers fully integrated, comprehensive communications worldwide. The company has expertise in implementing sophisticated communications technologies across difficult terrain and in areas with limited infrastructure support. He oversees a team of professionals that delivers proven complex integrated data, voice, and video solutions throughout the Joint Special Operations Forces community. Ultimately, his goal is to help clients develop successful strategies for delivering fully integrated communications that allow them to benefit from data analytics and improve operational efficiency.
Mr. Henry is a decorated service member, having earned multiple combat decorations during his time in the military. He also graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Davis, and an MBA from Embry-Riddle University.
